About Us

Our courage
for their joy

The joy of knowing how you were made. The joy of chasing your gifts for the glory of God. The joy of freedom in the Good News of Jesus Christ. These are worthy of our courage. And we believe, they are the very right of every young person.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

For 30-35 hours a week, most students learn in an institution that directly opposes God and His Word.

At Courage Schools, we believe in restoring and empowering the three pillars of Christ-centered education who best model what it looks like to follow Jesus.

The Home

God has given parents primary responsibility in imparting a biblical worldview on their children’s hearts and minds. In our schools, parents are welcomed—not excluded—and are actively involved in spiritual and educational learning.

The Church

Scripture is clear that the Church is responsible for shepherding God’s people, beyond the 1-2 hours on Sundays. Imagine the difference it makes when you increase those hours by ten or twentyfold.

The School

When schools partner with parents and local churches, education becomes an incredible tool to advance the Great Commission. Schools start building disciples who know Jesus and know how they can best amplify His message in daily life.

"When schools prosper, the church remains righteous and her doctrine pure. . . Young pupils and students are the seed and source of the church. If we were dead, whence would come our successors. If not from the schools? For the sake of the church, we must have and maintain Christian schools."

Parents, churches, students, and educators have desired reform for decades, seeing the system’s failure to train young people.

Reform is only possible if we join together to courageously redefine learning.

Our Innovative Model

Courage Schools’ enables these institutions to work together through a microschool model that allows students to hear the Truth and thrive in the unique calling the Lord has placed on their lives.

Employs Tailored Learning

Courage Schools takes a student-centered approach to education that capitalizes on students’ God-given gifts, abilities, and passions. Student’s learn to become self-directed learners who take ownership of their education and their future. This enables students from all different ages and grade levels to learn in the same space under the guidance of a few mentors.

Enables Partnership

Tailored learning makes it possible for nearly any church to start a school in their existing facilities without having to hire extensive personnel to manage the school or teach each grade level. This drastically minimizes the two largest expenses of starting a school: facilities and labor costs. Merging churches with the home and the school is now both achievable and desirable.

Elevates Jesus

We believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the most important Truth for every student to know and grasp. Therefore, every Courage School is committed to pointing students to Jesus as the Creator, Sustainer, and Savior of the world. Furthermore, tailored learning enables students to discover how God has uniquely designed them to love Him and love others with their lives.

We went to the drawing board.

The shift from standardized to tailored education gives students a chance to get creative as they find their gifting. We’re all for it, because we serve the greatest Creator of all.
