Core Principle: Truth-Full

Our Christian worldview is both the core and lens of everything we do at Courage Schools.

Jesus-centered content fills the core of our curricula and is the lens through which our schools are guided. The highest goal of Courage Schools is to help more students know Jesus and represent Him well in current culture.

Courage Schools desires all children to boldly pursue the Truth in every area of their lives. The Bible declares that God is the source of all knowledge and that God himself is Truth (Proverbs 1:7; John 8:31-32, John 14:6). On these grounds, it is impossible to fulfill the true purpose of education in any student’s life apart from the Word of God. It is only through the knowledge of God, mediated through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, that an individual can truly thrive and positively contribute to society (John 10:10). Furthermore, education is only beneficial when it enables students to carry out God’s purpose for their lives: to love him with all their heart, soul, and mind and to love their neighbors as themselves (Matthew 22:36-40).

The highest goal of Courage Schools is to help students know Jesus and represent Him well in current culture.

We believe that education is a crucial tool in fulfilling the Great Commission as we prioritize making disciples of Jesus among our students and then train them to go and make disciples among all nations. Alongside the partnership of local churches, Courage Schools ensures that students are saturated in the gospel every day. Every subject is viewed as an opportunity to better know the Lord as our Creator, Sustainer, and Savior; and every student is given the means to grow in their faith through Bible study, prayer, service, mentoring, and fellowship with other believers. We have even centered our foundational competencies on guiding our students to reflect Jesus in their knowledge, wisdom, stature, community, and purpose. Courage Schools are safe places for students to ask hard questions, form their beliefs, and live out their faith so that as they move on to college, the workforce, and adulthood, they are equipped to continue to follow the Lord and call others to do the same.
